Junyuan Wang is an undergraduate student in the Duke Kunshan University–Duke University Dual Degree Program. She joined the Diao Laboratory as a visiting undergraduate research student in Fall 2026.

In the Diao Laboratory, her research focuses on evaluating cell and gene therapy for improved muscle function and tissue microenvironment in Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
&lt;br>
&lt;br>
Her research interests include gene therapy, immunotherapy, skeletal muscle biology, and translational biomedical research. She hopes to pursue a Ph.D. and a career in academic research.
