Kyle Chen is an undergraduate student at Duke University pursuing a degree in neuroscience. He joined the Diao Lab as a freshman in the fall of 2026. His research interests focus on translational medicine, particularly the applications of gene editing and epigenetics in developing novel therapeutics. At the Diao Lab, Kyle hopes to contribute to the development and optimization of CAR-T cell therapies through cell culture and mouse models. In the future, he aspires to pursue an MD/PhD and become a physician-scientist.
